Soto Koto Music
African Music Festival

   Oko & Meredith
Lasting Value promotes cultural exchange and we feel that music and culture provide great means to form bonds of friendship and trust among people from all cultures. Our endeavors are carried out by supporting the activities of our strategic partners, Soto Koto Music and African Music Festival.
Spearheading these activities is Oko Drammeh, producer, ethnomusicologist and founder of the African Music Festival, one of the oldest and largest international African events which celebrated its 20-year anniversary in 2003. In addition to producing several CDs in the Soto Koto catalog for Higher Octave Music, which now are distributed by Virgin, Oko also has produced documentaries on African music and culture for BBC and a host of festivals, concerts, symposiums and other cultural exhibitions.
